Ben Langsam
I think of myself as a confident and articulate individual. I have the commended ability to work with others to achieve set outcomes. I completed school in 2017 and have a strong sense of determination and experience in design. I have developed leadership and communication skills which have been demonstrated through engagement in voluntary work, work experience and other associations. I am studying a dual degree of Advanced Science (Hon) / Fine Arts at the University of New South Wales. My key strengths include strong attention to detail, creativity, charisma and willingness to learn and develop professionally.

WINNER OF TOM BASS FIGURATIVE SCULPTURE, CRAWFORD'S CASTING YOUTH PRIZE
2018
This important and prestigious Prize is a celebration of the human form and its influence on today’s sculptors and is an acknowledgement of the influence Bass had as one of Australia’s pre-eminent public sculptors.
NOMINATION OF BODY OF WORK FOR ARTEXPRESS
2017
This is an annual exhibition featuring a selection of outstanding student artworks developed for the artmaking component of the HSC examination in Visual Arts in NSW.
DUKE OF EDINBURGH GOLD AWARD
2017
Youth awards programme founded in the United Kingdom in 1956 by Prince Phillip, Duke of Edinburgh, that has since expanded to 144 nations. The awards recognise adolescents and young adults for completing a series of self-improvement exercises.
YEAR 12 CRANBROOK VISUAL ARTS PRIZE
2017
Recognition of Outstanding Achievement in the Visual Arts. Awarded for commitment, achievement and service in the Visual Arts community at Cranbrook School.
FINALIST AND EXHIBITOR FOR MOSMAN YOUTH PRIZE
2016
This exhibition features the diverse talents of our region’s young, aspiring and emerging artists and offers them the opportunity to exhibit their work in a public art gallery. This is a popular competition with close to 400 entries received annually with entrants from all over Sydney.
HIGHLY COMMENDED WOOLLAHRA ENVIRONMENTAL SCULPTURE PRIZE

3RD PLACE WAVERLEY YOUTH ART PRIZE

The Purpose of the Waverley Youth Art Prize is to encourage creativity in young artists from within the Waverley Council area. Artworks are judged and awarded for recognition of achievement.
